設計のコンセプトは
「自然と文化を大事にしながら，暮らしの幸せを育む建築」です．

暮らしとはすなわち人生そのもの．

私たちの設計する建築を通して，関わる人々がそれぞれの人生の中で少しでも幸せを感じる時間が増えることを願っています．
そこで生まれた幸せがまた新たな幸せを呼んで，豊かな人生の器となる建築を創り続けていくことが私たちの夢です．

一方で，建築を創る立場として忘れてはならないものが二つあります．

一つは自然環境の保全です．
木材を産出する森林に想いを馳せ，素材を愛し，また建築のライフサイクルの省エネルギー化を図り，環境負荷を少しでも低減する．
建築が長く使い続けられるものであるからこそ，広い視野でサステナブル（持続可能）な設計提案を行うことが必要だと考えています．

二つ目は伝統文化の継承です．
日本の伝統的な建築技術や空間の豊かさについて，設計実務の中で再考し，また広くは古い町並みや里山・農村・漁村それぞれの景観を保全する．
先人の知恵や教訓を現代に活かし，日本の建築空間を次世代に引き継ぎ，発展させていく使命があると信じています．


The design concept of our firm is "architecture that fosters happiness in daily life while respecting nature and culture."

Living is life itself.

We hope that through the architecture we design, people involved will have more time to feel happy in their lives.
It is our dream to continue to create architecture that will lead to new happiness and embrace a rich life.

However, there are two things that we must not forget as architects.

The first is to preserve the natural environment.
We think of the forests that produce wood, love the materials, and strive to reduce the energy consumption of the life cycle of architecture, thereby reducing the environmental impact as much as possible.
Because architecture is something that can be used for a long time, we believe that it is necessary to propose sustainable designs with a broad perspective.

The second is the inheritance of traditional culture.
In our design activities, we reconsider Japan's traditional architectural techniques and rich spaces, and from a broader perspective, we preserve the landscapes of old towns, hillside villages, rural areas, and fishing villages.
I believe we have a mission to utilize the wisdom and lessons of our ancestors in the present day, and to pass on and develop Japan's architectural spaces to the next generation.
